Soil Consumption, territorial dimanic and ecosystem services - Edition 2016
The third edition of ISPRA report on soil consumption will provide an updated and new indicators to assess the characteristics and trends of territory transformation.
The publication introduces new evaluation on the impact about the growth of artificial land cover, which causes the loss of a key resource, as well as its functions and associated ecosystem services.
The report also presents a first national mapping and assessment, including also economic aspects, about the loss of key ecosystem services due to soil consumption of the last three years. .
