The theme of the VII edition of the General States of the Green Economy is the "Green economy and new employment for the revival of Italy". The annual appointment of the Italian green economy is promoted by the National Council of the Green Economy – composed by 66 business organizations - in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Economic Development and the European Commission. The aim of the General States is to develop a programmatic platform for the a green economy in Italy through the analysis of the positive potentials, the obstacles, as well as the policies and measures necessary to improve the ecological quality of the strategic sectors.
ISPRA participates in the thematic sessions:
• The new European Waste and Circular Economy Directives: indications for reception
• The Green Economy in Italian agriculture and the new agricultural policy (CAP).
