EEA Report: "Unequal exposure and unequal impacts: social vulnerability to air pollution, noise and extreme temperatures in Europe"
The Environmental European Agency (EEA), of which ISPRA is the National Focal Point, has published last 4 February the report:"Unequal exposure and unequal impacts: social vulnerability to air pollution, noise and extreme temperatures in Europe”. The report highlights the need for actions aimed at greater protection of the health of the most vulnerable European citizens, the poor, the elderly and children, from environmental risks such as atmospheric and acoustic pollution as well as extreme temperatures, especially in Europe’s eastern and southern regions.
