The "Coordination for the uniform application on the national territory" of Legislative Decree 105/2005, which includes representatives of the MATTM and ISPRA, has set up a working group about the safe management of the aging of "Seveso" plants equipments coordinated by INAIL with the participation of qualified SNPA components: ISPRA, ARPA Liguria, ARPA Piedmont and ARPA Veneto.
About this topic, the Legislative Decree 105/2015 introduces for the managers of plants at risk of a major accident the obligation to adopt plans for monitoring and controlling the risks associated with aging of equipment and plants too that can produce to the loss of containment of dangerous substances. The working group proposes a method for the qualitative and quantitative assessment of the aging management of the equipment that will be explained during the seminar. An ISPRA expert participates in the seminar.
