Flood of the Tiber in Rome

Hydrometric levels updated in real time

 

The flood of the Tiber began on the night between December 10 and 11 2008. The most significant flood from 2001 to today occurred in December 2004: the highest hydrometric level (h) recorded was 10.89 m corresponding to a flow rate (Q) of 1375.25 m3/s. The highest hydrometric level recorded at Ripetta dates back to 1937 and is equal to 16.90 m and the maximum flow rate, equal to 3300 m3 / s, dates back to 1900.
Connecting to the site of the Hydrographic and Mareografico Region Lazio, you can know in real time the level reached by the Tiber, which at the time (17:00 hours on 12 December 2008) is 12.33 m.
