Strong Sea project introduce the SEAWatcher app
On 21 and 22 June 2022, within the scientific framework of the Life Strong Sea project, ISPRA, Agris, the Asinara Park and the North Sardinia Flag will present the SEAWatcher App in two municipalities in Northern Sardegna: Castelsardo and Porto Torres . SEAWatcher, developed by MITE, is the app connected to #StrongSeaLife. It is the tool to facilitate the recovery of ghost nets and gear lost at sea.

The first direct stakeholders are the fishermen, the main protagonists who will benefit from the timeliness of intervention of the removals and whose collaboration is of fundamental importance for the success of the project's actions.
The presentation of the App will be addressed in parallel to: divers, boaters, diving centers, tourists and citizens who will have a leading role in the dissemination of actions and results, contributing to the restoration of Habitats.
