The meeting represents an unique opportunity for all the GIS workers and experts to inform about the latest technologies for spatial data management. Many experts in different fields of geomatics (space, earth observation, collaborative mapping, humanitarian, etc.) held inspiring workshops and talks and many up-to-date information were given from principal developers and founders of international organizations such as OGC, OSGeo, EC, ESA, ISPRS, UN Open GIS.
ISPRA gave its patronage to the event and, in the general track schedule, had the opportunity to manage an interesting session about latest technological advancements of Geoserver, Geonode and Mapstore softwares. Interesting perspectives for future collaborations were opened during the event.
