Ecological networks and territorial planning: analysis and perspective for the Italian path

The Department of Nature Protection, Division of Protected Areas
and Territorial Planning, organized scheduled a conference
entitled "Ecological networks and territorial planning: analysis
and perspective for the Italian path" in order to present the
initial results of a survey on the perception transposition
of the Ecological Network concept into physical planning.
This initiative takes stock of the activities carried out under the
multi-year program "Reti Ecologiche" (Ecological Network) promoted
by Ispra ISPRA (formerly ANPA, then APAT) since 1997, in order also
to verify the activity and commitment of the Institute in terms of
positive effects throughout the national context for what concerns
the innovative methodologies of territorial planning.
