Guidance document on priority substance monitoring under the water framework directive (2000/60/EC)

This Technical Guidance Document on Biota Monitoring (the Implementation of EQS _biota) aims to facilitate the implementation of environmental quality standards (EQS) in biota under the Water Framework Directive to promote consistency in the implementation of biota standards in the Italian water bodies. The second part gives the criteria to assess Lead and Nickel concentration respect to their bioavailability in the Italian river.
