In this project, which focused as a case study in-depth fishing on the high Adriatic, ISPRA researchers have cooperated with the fishermen of Chioggia and researchers of the Consortium UNIMAR with the aims to establish a process of collaboration that included all the survey phases , from the definition of objectives, data collection, analysis and interpretation, and the identification of the management proposals.

Within the volume ISPRA, there is also a "Charter of values for responsible fishing in High Adriatic", where the fishermen's group GAP2 underline a set of proposals aimed at achieving sustainable exploitation of resources, including a greater coordination with Croatia and Slovenia for the management of shared resources and the need to improve sales processes and product enhancement at the fish markets.

This process should also bring to the development  of "co-management" method involving and empowering fishermen directly in the management of the resources exploited by fishing.
