Presented "CIRO", the first database in Italy to guide the regions towards climate neutrality
Presented on February 29th at KEY – The Energy Transition Expo (IEG) CIRO, the first database in Italy to guide regions towards climate neutrality, developed by Italy for Cliamte, in collaboration with ISPRA, which collects, analyzes and monitors data and good environmental practices.
The database is the result of research and data processing which has made it possible to identify 26 indicators divided into 8 thematic areas: emissions, energy, renewables, buildings, industry, transport, agriculture and vulnerability.
These also include original data and indicators, developed for the first time and collected with the aim of providing the public debate and local administrations with a complete and updated picture that allows the identification of areas for improvement and the best practices to be adopted.
