140° Anniversary of the Geological Survey of Italy
In the occasion of the 140 anniversary of the foundation of the Geological Survey which occurs June 15, 2013, the ISPRA Soil Department I has organized on June 24th an open day to remember the steps that have brought to the foundation of the Geological Survey of Italy, scientific events and prestigious scientists who have worked during this long period of time, the proactive role played by the Geological Survey of Italy, as part of the Earth Sciences as well as in the growth and development of our country.
