Publication of the Atlas of Protected Marine Species in Sicily
It is online the Atlas of Protected Marine Species in Sicily and in Natura 2000 sites in Sicily, developed as part of the project Regional Observatory of Biodiversity of Sicily Region.
It is a collection of cards concerning cards and/or endangered protected marine species, according the various EU Directives and international agreements for the conservation of nature (Habitat, Birds, SPA / BIO, Berne, Bonn, CITES, ACCOBAMS) and that have had at least one report on Marine Protected Areas and Natura 2000 areas (Sites of Community Importance and Special Protection Areas) of Sicily.
