The main objective of the conference is
to highlight the role of the Geological Heritage in the policies of
protection and enhancement of environmental resources of our
country through the various legal instruments available and
operating at international, national and local levels. Particular
attention will be devoted to the various experiences in Italy in
the field of knowledge and enjoyment of geo-diversity and the new
prospects for development of geological tourism.
