Cop21- Conference of the Parties to the Barcelona Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment and Coastal Regions of the Mediterranean

The Cop21 UNEP / MAP will be held in Castel dell'Ovo in Napoli from 2 to 5 December, an important event  to bring a concrete contribution in terms of climate change, blue economy, biodiversity and marine pollution. The COP21 will provide strategic guidance to elaborate the next medium-term UNEP / MAP strategy, considering the global context comprising the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity and the Global Biodiversity Framework post 2020, the United Nations Framework Convention on the Process of Climate Change and the Implementation of the Paris Agreement, the Implementation of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, the Resolutions of the United Nations Assembly for the Environment ( UNEA) and other global processes

ISPRA as a INFORAC will be part of the Cop21.
