Summer school "AMARE-MED 2019"

From 1 to 6 July the Summer School "AMARE-MED 2019: 1stFAIRSEA advanced school on quantitative methods for ecosystems approach to fisheries application" will be held at the Veneto Institute of Science, Letters and Arts.

The initiative is promoted by the FAIRSEA project with the participation, in the context of scientific coordination, also of ISPRA researchers. The candidates can apply for participation online (http://echo.inogs.it/amare-med ) by April 15 2019. 30 participants will be selected based on experience, skills and interests in relation to the ecosystem approach, which will be granted free access to the summer school.

Furthermore, the FAIRSEA project in the frame of capacity building activities, will be able to finance travel / accommodation expenses for candidates from the Italy-Crozia collaboration area (http://www.italy-croatia.eu/cooperation-area ). Finally, the FAO - General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM) will be able to support the participation of researchers from the Black Sea and non-EU countries of the Mediterranean. An Ispra expert is part of the scientific committee of the Summer school.
