BALMAS Strategic project IPA
Started in November 2013, the Strategic project BALMAS “ SYSTEM OF BALLAST WATER MANAGEMENT FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE ADRIATIC SEA ', which will end in March 2016. The project involves 17 partners and 7 Associate Partners from 6 countries bordering the Adriatic Sea. The lead partner of the project is the Institute for Water of the Slovenia Republic. The partners of the project are the Italian Coast Guard, ISPRA, the Foundation Marine Research Centre, CNR-ISMAR, the University of Molise and the OGS, with the Ministry for the Environment, La and Sea, Marche Region and ARPA-FVG as associated partners.
