Monitoring of pressures and threats on species and habitats and climate change

As part of the implementation of the PNRR, the specific Measure M2C4 Inv. 3.2 Digitalisation of national parks and marine protected areas, of the Mission "Ecological transition and green revolution", owned by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security ( MASE), aims to establish standardized and digitalized procedures for the modernization, efficiency and effective functioning of protected areas.

The technical-scientific coordination of the Measure is assigned to ISPRA. The monitoring data collected by the National Parks will be appropriately processed by ISPRA and made available in the technical infrastructure of the National Biodiversity Network (NNB) according to international sharing standards.
