The annual rerpot produced by ISPRA provides important data. The
last edition confirms the commitment of ISPRA and of the
Environmental Agencies System in the dissemination to the public of
the information and knowledge relating to an important issue such
as waste.
Results and trends show how the production of municipal waste is
related to several socioeconomic factors.
What happens to waste? The report provides all the information
relating to the disposal: waste collection, landfill, incineration,
recovery. The Report also shows significant regional differences in
waste management between North, South and Central Italy, which
should be carefully interpreted.
