G8 Environment
Syracuse, 22-24 April
The Italian Ministry of Environment, on an initiative of the
Italian Presidency of the G8, will host in Syracuse in next April
22-24, the Summit of Environment Ministers of the G8 countries.
Goal of the meeting in Syracuse will be to launch an important
political message on biodiversity and on the relationship between
health and environment, especially for children, as well as
facilitating dialogue on the theme of climate change in view of the
Copenhagen Conference that, in December of this year, will define
the 'post-Kyoto' global order.
