The funding obtained for the creation of new sheets of the geological map of Italy at a scale of 1: 50,000 (CARG Project) is giving new impetus to the request for geologists with specific skills to be used in the various stages of work.
The course, organized as part of the 90th National Congress of the Italian Geological Society, was an opportunity to present all the phases of work that characterize the creation of a geological sheet at a scale of 1: 50,000, both for the emerged areas and for those submerged, as well as the essential elements of national guidelines and standards.
