The reuse of water and sludges produced from treatment plants of municipal wastewater : general aspects.

The Report summarizes the work developed during 2006 as part of the interagency Technical Board Sustainable management of water resources. The Agencies that participated in the table have shared their knowledge and experiences relating to their regional context in order to build a general knowledge on the sawage treatment plants suitable to launch the recovery of treated water, analyzed specific aspects of reuse already in operation or under construction, initiated the establishment of the first elements for setting the monitoring of environmental effects, soil and agronomic reuse of treated water, initial assessments carried out on interventions that are designed to recover materials and energy from sewage sludge.
