The RINASCI project from the recent interventions of the European Union to halt the loss of biodiversity and restore the vitality of species and habitats in Europe (in particular, consider the Proposal for a Regulation on Nature Restoration of 2022, whose approval process is still ongoing) and intends to involve both the academic community and civil society in a common objective of renewed attention and awareness on the issues of environmental protection and intergenerational responsibility, starting from an analysis of the legal issues underlying the restoration of nature, with particular reference to the roots in European law and constitutional principles.
