In fact, during the four days of the competition, the various cities around the world participating in the initiative promote awareness campaigns - bioblitz - aimed at volunteer citizens who, with the support of scientists, will be able to observe the flora and fauna and send reports using the own smartphone.
For the occasion, the National Biodiversity Network of ISPRA, thanks to the membership of the CNC of the Metropolitan Area of Rome Capital supported by the National Academy of Sciences, proposes for 27 April 2024 the initiative "Citizen science and riparian vegetation of the Reserve Nature of the Aniene Valley”. The program and registration method will be published shortly.
