Signed Memorandum between ISPRA and chinese University Zhejiang Ocean University (ZJOU)

A Chinese delegation from the Zhejiang Ocean University led by the President of the Xiaojun Yan University today visited ISPRA, with the aim of strengthening a collaboration started 10 years ago with the Ecotoxicology section of the Livorno laboratories, with exchanges between researchers and students has given rise to an intense technical-scientific activity. This cooperation on marine and aquatic sciences with particular reference to ecotoxicology, aquaculture and, more generally, about marine biology, has led ISPRA and Zhejiang Ocean University to sign a Memorandum of Understanding. The President of ISPRA has presented the activities of the Institute, both in the national and international context; the head of the Chinese delegation the President of the Zhejiang Ocean University has illustrated the problems of the Zhejiang province, eastern coastal area of the People's Republic of China in which the breeding and fishing are the main resources of the population. The DG Ispra has  highlighted the importance of Blue Growth and sustainable management in a blue economy perspective.
