The fight against invasive alien species and the commitment to protect biodiversity in the Liguria Region has become more and more important during the years. Arpa Liguria is one of the partners of the project “Aliem, Action pour Limiter les risques de diffusion des espèces Introduites Envahissantes en Méditerranée” financed under the Interreg Italy-Maritime Cooperation Program 2014 - 2020.
The aim of the project is to build an institutional and scientific network, which allows to share information, good practices for the active management of the phenomenon, but above all to intervene promptly in case of introduction of species that can make serious threats to the biodiversity of this places .
At the event will partecipate Ispra experts.
