Quality Morphological Index (IQM): status of implementation and morphological monitoring
The DM 260/2010 introduces the IQM as a tool for the evaluation of the morphology status of water bodies in conformity with the Water Framework Directive. The same Directive requires that any measure implemented for territorial development and / or for the requalification of water bodies contributes to the achievement of good ecological status of water bodies and in any case does not lead to deterioration of the environmental status of water bodies themselves.
