Districts

Eight years after the last revision, the  Commitee's position Committee's position was updated by focusing not only on the overall improvement of environmental performance, but also on the commitment of organizations, in line with the evolution of the legislation - in particular the EU directives - and the legitimate expectations of interested parties, to implement the principles of the circular economy.

As in the past, the "phased" District approach should also allow the individual entities interested in EMAS registration to take advantage of possible synergies in the development of their management system and specific skills and resources made available by the Operator (see in about attachment 1).
