Environment: Challenge and Opportunity for Tourism

The report, produced during the International Year of Sustainable Tourism (2017), aims to bring out the main links between tourism and the environment, highlighting the environmental dimension of sustainability, often scarcely monitored in tourism. At the same time, it aims to provide to political decision makers and tourist destination managers ideas for reflecting on their tourism governance.
