Guidelines for the system report on the state of the environment

The Guidelines are a product of the Working Group "Design of a System Report on the State of the Environment” developed under the "Three-year plan 2014-2016” of the Agency System. The need for a comprehensive and harmonized production of the Environmental Information arises from the multiplicity and heterogeneity of the State of the Environment reports produced by the SNPA, in order to provide a coherent and comprehensive dissemination of the data.

This Guideline is aimed at the realization of a State of the Environment report of the SNPA which can be a support tool useful not only in the elaboration of policies, but also in stimulating discussion among experts and in sensitizing the population to change their behaviour to produce positive effects.

In the Guidelines are also described the two preliminary stages of preparation of the same: survey and analysis of reports on the state of the environment produced by the most accredited bodies in the field of environmental reporting at European and international level.
