The data of the ISPRA monitoring network show that, at national level, the soil consumed from the 50s to today has increasead of 159%; in absolute terms, it is estimated that the consumption of land has now affected approximately 21,100 kilometers square of our territory. The area most affected by soil consumption is the North, above all Lombardia and Veneto.
The next meeting on Friday March 31 aims to open a debate on the land protection and the urgent need to reverse a building expansion.
The meeting will be attended by an ISPRA expert.
