Presence and blooms of Ostreopsis ovata and other potentially toxic microalgae along the Italian coast

ISPRA has organized a seminar of updating within the activities about the "Ostreopsis ovata along the Italian coast". During the seminar will be presented, from the ARPAs, the results of the monitoring activities carried out in the 2011 during bathing season and also the contributions of Institutes of research and Universities related O. Ovata and other potentially toxic microalgae. The seminar will be followed by a discussion which will be attended also by the Ministry for the Environment, Land and sea (MATTM), the Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Health.
