International Day of Women and Girls in Science
Sunday 11 February marks the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, an event established in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly to dispel myths, defeat prejudices, overcome stereotypes and accelerate progress by promoting initiatives to promote full gender equality in science.
