On-line the new environmental indicators data base ISPRA

An effective tool to understand the state of the environment in Italy
Developed with a view to improvement, to face increasingly pressing environmental challenges and to satisfy new knowledge needs, including future scenarios, the ISPRA environmental indicators database disseminates detailed statistical information in a dynamic and timely manner characterized by a high scientific solidity.

Presentation of the "Environment Report SNPA" - edition 2023

The Report, now in its fourth edition, offers a detailed overview of the state of our environment based on objective, reliable and comparable information, with 21 environmental indicators that allow us to evaluate the achievement of the numerous set objectives and to effectively address future environmental challenges . The second part of the document highlights the commitment and work of ISPRA and the ARPA/APPA, through a focus on best practices for the fight against climate change, to support the circular economy, to contribute to the process of sustainable finance, to protect our health and our planet and to raise awareness and inform the community.

TCA '23 Noise measurement and control

The initiative aims to promote "Best practices", with the dissemination and sharing of noise study and monitoring experiences, through reports by the main Italian experts and academics.
The opening theme of the conference will be the implementation of regulations and environmental control on noise pollution, and the promotion of Best Practices.

Electromagnetic and 5G

During the day some of the main research and in-depth activities related to the 5G theme will be described, to which ARPA Lazio contributes as an active member of the Snpa working groups, and in the context of specific technical / scientific collaboration agreements entered into. with the academic world to investigate the complex issue of 5G

Webinar "Advanced Noise Control strategies in HarbOuR (ANCHOR) - LIFE "

Developing participation through a Smart Port Noise Monitoring System
The main target of i ANCHOR LIFE is to make aware and communicate the noise pollution topic coming from harbors towards the public administration and the land management responsible, the port authorities, the companies involved in the port's activities and the citizens that live close to port cities.

Presentation of the Project ANCHOR LIFE

ISPRA is presenting the 10 February the project  ANCHOR LIFE (Advanced Noise Control strategies in HarbOuR) for the definition of Best Practices for Noise Governance and Information, one for each partner port authority, in order to enhance relationships among all the port actors, such port authorities, companies and local communities. Also the project aims to raise awareness, communicate and disseminate the topic of noise pollution coming from ports affecting urban nearby territories among public Administrations and  other stakeholders.

Information on 5G: technology, law, limits, guarantees

The seminar, organized by Arpae and Anci Marche with the collaboration of the Marche Region and the National System for environmental protection, aims to share information, knowledge, needs and issues expressed by the various actors iand stakeholders nvolved, in a comparison that take into account technological development with respect for the rules and the precautionary principles necessary for the protection of citizenship.

LIFE MONZA project towards its final event

Exposure to noise, particularly caused by road traffic, is a major environmental problem in Europe, affecting millions of people and causing significant public health effects. It is estimated that 113 million people are exposed to long-term day-evening-night traffic noise levels of at least 55 dB(A), based on Environmental Noise Directive implementation data.

Presentation of the SOER 2020, Environmental Data Yearbook and System Reports

The next 3 June, in video streaming with the Italian PM Giuseppe Conte, and David Sassoli, President of the European Parliament, will be presented the three reports dedicated to the environmental situation in Europe and in Italy: the SOER 2020 (State of the Environment Report), the Environmental Data Yearbook 2019 which shows the state of the environment in Italy and the System Report which presents regional experiences.
