The Ministry of Environment and Territory and Sea launched last 25 April 2015 the activities for the establishment of the National Table on Coastal Erosion (TNEC) with the involvement of all Regions close to of Italian coast, which are also part of the network the "Bologna Charter", with the technical coordination of ISPRA and the national scientific community (CNR, University). The TNEC aims to elaborate the "National Guidelines for the coast protection: coastal dynamics management" scheduled for June 2016, with the target to develop collaborative activities through the institutional actors involved, with Mediterranean Countries.
The conference is preceded by the meeting of the Coordination Table of the Charter of Bologna initiative, that will be held April 28, to define the implementation of action plan concerning the process of adaptation to climate change affecting the coasts of the Mediterranean.
