The project EMODNET - Geology is now at the end of the second phase. EMODnet (European Marine Observation and Data Network) - Lot Geology is a project funded by EU Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries with the aims to make available all the geological date about European seas. On the Project web-site is available the digital cartography of the geological data, integrated and collected according to the different thematics used to describe the geological characteristics of European seabed. The ISPRA Geological Service is the Italian point of reference and coordinator of the task " Geological events and probabilities”, which includes volcanoes, earthquakes, landslides, tsunamis, fluid and tectonic eissions.
