A production system of environmental reporting at national level should be based on a common, standardized methodology to develop a database and a shared set of indicators.

On that consideration it was established the Working Group (WG 26) as part of the "Three-year program from 2014 to 2016, of the National System of Environment Protection (SNPA).", "Reporting - Area 5 - Reporting tools (methodological standards, systems of shared indicators, guidelines), composed by ISPRA (coordination), ARPA Emilia-Romagna, ARPA Friuli-Venezia Giulia, ARPA Lombardia, ARPA Piemonte, and ARPA Sicilia.

Next 22 March will be presented the design process, the results obtained, the needs came out and future developments related to the activities of the WG 26.
