"Air quality in schools: a duty for all, a right for the children" TOGETHER WE CAN - project SEARCH experiences
Rome, November 4, 2010, Auditorium ISPRA Via Curtatone 7 The congress aims to present and to share the experiences matured implementing the SEARCH Project in Italy and to present the results, recollected in a publication dedicated to the V Parma Congress about Environment and Health (March 2010). The SEARCH European project (School environment and respiratory health of children), conducted simultaneously in six European countries (Italy, Albania, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovakia) was promoted by the Ministry for the Environment and the Protection of Land and Sea, through the Italian Trust Fund (ITF), in cooperation with the REC-Hungary (Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe). SEARCH project aims to improved indoor air quality in schools, to reduce the risk of acute and chronic respiratory problems and of allergic sensitivity in children.
