Pesticides and environment

Rome, 12-13 May

The eighth edition of the conference "Pesticides and environment", sponsored by ISPRA along with the Pesticides Working Group of the Environmental Agencies System, aims to deepen and spread the knowledge about the problems relating to the use of pesticides. The conference will show the recent regulatory developments of the European and national legislation frame on pesticides and water protection against pollution. It will also address the classification and labeling of dangerous substances, the themes of pest management and the strategies aimed at reducing the impact. The results of environmental and health monitoring programs will be presented. The congress will address issues associated with the protection of waters, models for exposure prediction, analytical methods, activities in which both ISPRA and the Environmental Agencies System have always been institutionally involved.
