2nd ERA-Net CRUE Funding Initiative - Hydraulic and geological risk in Italy: Implementation in Italy of the Floods Directive 2007/60/CE

The meeting aims to present and discuss the activities performed from October 2009 to September 2011 by the Italian partners of the joint research projects FREEMAN, IMRA, URFLOOD and SUFRI, which are funded through the 2nd ERA-Net CRUE Funding Initiative “Flood resilient communities – managing the consequences of flooding” to support the implementation of the Floods Directive 2007/60/CE.
The Italian partners of such projects, with the only exception of SUFRI, are funded by ISPRA, the only Italian Institution participating, through the Department for the Protection of Inland and Marine Waters, to the CRUE ERA-Net project of the Sixth Framework Programme for Research and Technological Innovation (FP6).
