Rome, 3-9 October
"Putting science into practise" is the slogan chosen for the second
World Forum on Landslide, which will be held from 3 to 9 October
2011, at the headquarters of the United Nations Food and
Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in Rome. The Forum is organized by
the Global Promotion Committee of the International Programme on
Landslides (IPL). ISPRA will be among the involved institutions.
Several meetings are scheduled during the congress addressing the
issue of landslides, bringing together leading experts in the field
of landslide risk reduction. The dead line to participate is 30
September.
