Presentation of the documentary on the LIFE Project for the Conservation of the Sardianian-Corsican deer.
On 30 June at 6 pm at the Civic Museum of Zoology will take place the presentation of the documentary "One deer, two Islands", realized by ISPRA within the LIFE + project on the Sardinian deer. The project includes a series of activities aimed at increasing the spread of the distribution of the species on the territory of Sardinia and Corsica, with interventions of reintroduction and restocking, the creation of ecological corridors for the exchange of individuals (interventions on agricultural and forest areas) and the increase of the genetic variability in populations originated from a few subjects.
Partners of the project are: the Forest Authority of Sardinia, the Regional Park of Corsica, ISPRA, the Province of Medio Campidano and the Province of Ogliastra.
