The course aims to inform and update the participants on the remediation of contaminated sites, according to a practical / applicative approach.
Following an introduction concerning the national and European legislation, aspects related to the characterization and emergency safety
will be discussed through case studies, illustrating the experiences of teachers in various industrial and regional situations. The latter are
experts from the following public and private organizations: National Institute of Health, University of Milan, Golder Associates, Petroltecnica, Ministry of Environment, ISPRA, IRSA, University "La Sapienza" Rome - Department of Chemistry, INAIL, Earthwork Professionals Associates.
