The workshop will be a discussion on biodiversity applications and will provide some practical suggestions for the professionals and technicians of the involved organizations (institutions and enterprises). The scheduled reports provide a clarification of the technical terms used within Objective 2 of the European Strategy on Biodiversity, which is expects by 2020 the restoration of degraded ecosystems and their services together with the spread of green infrastructure, both in urban and rural areas. These objectives should be declined not only in theory but also in relation to the roles of the technical, istitutionals and economic subjects involved. The seminar, on the basis of case studies provided by the reports and the consequent discussion, aims to be an opportunity to focus on certain needs and priorities. President of ISPRA, Bernardo De Bernardinis, will conclude the workshop.
