Two years of research have involved in the study of the seabed and coasts of the Strait of Messina, researchers from differents Institutes such as ENEA, University of Sapienza Rome, Departments of Earth Sciences and the sea of Napoli, Trieste,Palermo, Messina, Australian National University, the Max Planck Institute of Leipzig, ISPRA and CNR.
The result is a great scientific discovery about the presence of Homo sapiens in Sicily.
