Fiera of Rimini, 7-10 november Opened today Ecomondo, with the presence of the Minister of Environment Gian Luca Galletti, the tradional event dedicated to the envirorment. The first day focus on the General States of Green Econony, divided in different sessions. ISPRA partecipates to the following session : " Circular Economy : reception and implementation of the European Waste Directives", with also the speech of ISPRA President Stefano Laporta.

Italy since 2013 has introduced a new law for the green in cities, the nr. 10/2013 : "Rules for the development of green urban spaces" with the aim to promote a new green culture in urban areas, where live and work the majority of Italians. The law establishes at the Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea, the Committeee for the green public development, that is supported by ISPRA.

Alessandro Bratti new General Director of ISPRA
The ISPRA Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Alessandro Bratti following the proposal of the President and the General Director. Alessandro Bratti has a degree in Agricultural Science at the University of Bologna and a PHD in Entomology, he was also professor at the University of Ferrara. In 2006 was appointed as a General Director of Environmental Agencies of Emilia-Romagna. Now he is member of the VIII Environment, Land and Public work Commission of Chamber of Deputies and lead the Parliamentary Commission of investigation for illegal activities about waste cycles and the environment.
