Biological, a choice of field

For many years, biological agriculture has been considered by  European Union  the main tool to reduce the significant impact that the agro-industrial sector has on the environment and  health of European citizens.

In Italy, biological is a success story, with continuous growth over the last 30 years, both in terms of area and income. Organic agiculture is also helping to revitalize the agricultural sector and the rural areas of the country. What is the real contribution that the bio provides to the country? What is its future in anticipation of the new guidelines of the Common Agricultural Policy? This topic will be discussed during the conference to be held at the Deputies Chamber.
