Signed Memorandum of Understanding between ISPRA and Environmental Protection Agency of the Republic of Serbia (SEPA)

Filip Radovic, Director of the Environment Agency of the Republic of Serbia and Stefano Laporta, President of ISPRA, signed today an important three-year memorandum of understanding in Rome . The main areas of cooperation will concern in particular: collection, analysis and dissemination of meteorological and hydrological data relevant for the observation of climate change and the measurement of their impact on potentially vulnerable economic sectors; implementation, monitoring, reporting and communication of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). Further lines of cooperation are identified in the following topics such as monitoring of air quality, water, soils, remediation of contaminated industrial sites, cooperation on reports and environmental indicators.
