The eleventh edition of the World Conference of Science Journalists- WCSJ2019 was held in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 1 to 5 July 2019 at the SwissTech Convention Center. The conference recorded 1137 participants from 83 countries around the world, as well as 120 day passes.
The Italy Stand, that had as topic: "Italy: the Beauty of Science. Research, knowledge, innovation" was promoted by Italian Foreing Office, ISPRA, together with CMCCC, CNR, GSSI, IIT, INAF, INFN together with Italian Embassy in Berna .
The stand of the Italian research institutions had also the honor to be visited by Ambassador to Bern, Silvio Mignano and Fabiola Gianotti, general director of CERN in Geneva.
