The conference "Forests for Biodiversity and Climate", that will be held next 4-5 February in Bruxelles, the main topics faced will be: forests vulnerability and climate change; conservation through the protection and restoration of forests; EU responsibility for global deforestation (incorporated deforestation); forest management practices and funding that promote high value ecosystems in terms of biodiversity wealth; cooperation between the EU and the exporting countries; strengthening of the information system on forests; forests as part of the climate change solution and forest management to reduce fire risks. At the meeting an Ispra expert and two delegates of the Italian Ministry of Environment will participate.
